Accessibility Compliance for CDC eLearning Courses
The purpose of this project is to perform accessibility audits on eLearning courses developed for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Work collaboratively with e-learning developers to fix identified accessibility issues. The accessibility audits and evaluations include:
- Keyboard accessibility checks – Can the e-learning course be navigated via keyboard and other assistive technologies?
- Use of screen reader apps including NVDA to navigate e-learning course.
- Evaluation of course accessibility responsiveness on mobile devices.

The goal is to ensure that the courses meet the accessibility standards set forth by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
CLIENT: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
OUTCOME: Increase in completed courses that pass the stringent government 508complaince and CDC eClearance process for online learning modules the first time.
Ensuring CDC eLearning courses are accessible to everyone with a comprehensive approach to accessibility for eLearning courses.
